2016 Wiffle Ball Tournament Benefitting Noahs Bandage Project

Having some fun for a good cause. There’s truly no better way to summarize the Waddell & Reed Wiffle Ball Tournament. Over the course of two weeks in October, various departments around the company assemble teams to participate in this single-elimination, bracket-style competition that benefits a local charitable organization (as chosen by an employee survey). For 2016, Noah’s Bandage Project was the benefactor, receiving nearly $2,400 to help fund pediatric cancer research. All proceeds were generated from team registration fees and the always-popular “in-game bribes.”
